This project is the only environmental remediation project in the city with an approved Remedial Action Plan. This means that it is the only project with an approved DEP completion plan in place. WIthout this money the project will not be completed. Previously a private individual expended 3,000,000 in private funds to get the site so close to the finish line. If approved the site will be under redevelopment by the fall. If not approved it will be padlocked once again.
