[edit] General Description

Please help improve this project page by replacing this text with a description and other factual information about the project. Don't know much about the project? Call your local government and ask for details. I-25, which was recently expanded to 6 lanes through the city of Colorado Springs, narrows to 4 lanes at the northern end of town, creating considerable congestion. This expansion would reduce commute times as well as emission of pollutants and consumption of fuels due to traffic jams.

This goes through a residental area which incorporates schools. People drive through now way too fast. Widening it would just make it worse. It is not essential at this time. --75.70.212.10 01:40, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Diana Horvat, 2-6-09
