[edit] General Description

Project Description:

The draft design study report proposes two 1-million gallon (MG) reservoirs in the Goldenview vicinity. These would provide fire, emergency, and operational storage for the AWWU system south of Rabbit Creek. The reservoir locations meet the following criteria

   * A capacity of 1 million gallons (MG)
   * A site of approximately 2 acres
   * At the desired elevation to serve the pressure zones of 920 feet and lower
   * Would have the least public impact

The sites proposed are at the current AWWU reservoir location at Prominence Pointe (scheduled for construction in Spring 2010) and at Legacy Pointe, which is not currently scheduled for construction and would depend on future development plans.
