Greater access to self-transport routes by people who choose to not depend upon fossil fuels. Decreased pollution (eventually) by people changing from automobiles to self-transport. General health of population improves as more people use them. Less expenditure on other transportation and health budgets. Less dependency on fossil fuels and the effect on personal budgets of rapid and wide changing prices.
