The Union Park project involves development of 60 acres next to the existing Las Vegas downtown. This step, installing infrastructure, will make sale and development of individual lots possible.

Development of this acreage will create many new jobs and greatly increase the tax revenues of the City. Putting in the infrastructure will be the City's major contribution to the project; once that is done, plots will be ready for sale and development by private concerns.
